Recent Accomplishments

• First Place State Award for Community Service

CASA Project - (along with the two other federated women’s clubs in our county, Crystal River and Beverly Hills Women’s Clubs) for fundraising for a new facility for victims of domestic violence

        ·  $2000 Style Show Fundraiser for local food pantry, Citrus United Basket (C.U.B.)

• $400 Eating Out for CASA

• Introduction of Festival of Books in Inverness/Citrus County

Winnie Markarian won Leadership Award - Honored at State Convention

Barbara Mehaffey, FFWC Second Vice President of Membership, made a special visit to our club to recognize our record gain in members, one of the highest in the state.
